Hi guys,
I studied French today with the French teacher from Quebec.
How I met the French teacher
She is also staying in the same area in Peru.
Then I had wanted to study French because I am planning on living in France maybe for a year or 2.
And I would like to learn French before somewhat.
So I asked a friend if she knows someone who teaches French and I met her.
She is from Quebec
At first I thought I wanted to learn French with an actual French person because I heard in France many French people prefer the French French.
But, it seems like to an extent, the accent doesn’t matter so much according to her.
Therefore I decided to study with her.
Plus, I just wanted to get me started and jump right in.
And, she seems nice and generous.
So I will see how it goes with her.
I am keenly sensitive
I am a lot of times keenly sensitive about not wasting my time and stuff. And that trait kinda hinder me from trying new things.
But I will see.
How my French study is going
So, it has been just a few days since I started learning.
But I think the key in French learning is the pronunciation.
I heard the grammar is pretty much the same as Spanish.
So I am hoping that is the case.
Anyways, I am a bit terrified as I was when I started studying Spanish.
I am still kinda learning English, but then when you study another language, the language kinda confuses you when you speak English.
Like when you want to say something in English, some grammar points or words in Spanish pop into your head and you get confused.
Studying another language confuses you?
Well actually it’s confused me many times when I started learning Spanish till I got comfortable speaking Spanish.
But now that I am more or less comfortable speaking Spanish, it doesn’t bother me as much anymore.
My brain kinda switches to Spanish from whatever language I am speaking at the moment.
And I can kinda automatically start speaking Spanish or English or even Japanese.
Therefore, if you get to that point, it is not gonna confuse you so much, just sometimes.
Will see how it goes and write about it here.
Chao!
